I am hoping that my oncoming pregnancy-brain won't interfere with book writing in the meantime. I have some non-pregnant friends who are proof reading what I write just to make sure it all makes sense. I've been feeling great (no morning sickness!) and craving foods that I normally turn down: pink grapefruit, sour lemonade, chicken noodle soup, taco salad, and clam chowder.
I'll be 7 weeks today, and next Friday Brian and I will be going in for our 1st ultrasound to get a peek of what's been going on. We've got a girl's name picked out already, but cannot decide on a boy's name. Everyone who knows us thinks we're having a girl. Brian wants to find out what we're having, so hopefully by Thanksgiving we can tell all our family & friends if we're going to have a boy or a girl.

Congratulations on your exciting news! I'm at the being a grandmother stage of life,
but there is nothing quite like the excitement of waiting for your first-born and its safe arrival!
Looking forward to your book being published here in the UK,and am eagerly anticipating arrival of the yarn I ordered from you recently.
Best wishes from Macclesfield, UK.

Congrats Ashley! As a mother of three, there is nothing like having a child. Its an experience that even today, gives me fulfillment. Your girl/boy will give you oodles of joy, some pain, and a lot of sleepless nights. But, theres nothing like it :) Your lucky you dont have morning sickness, I had it with all three kids and my last one I kept morning sickness until after 8 months pregg!
Congrats! Such awesome news!
