My father in law and I walked thru the woods this morning looking for
pieces of aromatic cedar to make into fiber studio mobiles. I found
the neatest vines growing around the dead cedar branches, and I took a
couple cuttings home to make into art yarn swags. I loved how the vines
looked like 3 and 4-ply yarns that the trees had spun. So inspiring!
When I got home I wrapped my yarn around one of the vine cuttings and
hung it over my in-laws couch.
What do you think?

Wonderful - I get much inspiration from Nature that graces my farm and from how the animals interact with it. Thanks for sharing
Wow! It does seem like the tree sprouted yarn! What a beautiful and creative display.
That's really beautiful.
So cool! Now this is a great idea for two hanging candle-lamps I've been hoarding. This FEELS so wonderful to gaze upon...since I live at the confluence of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean, I'll use some driftwood instead! I've always said the forest is my church and this gives me that feeling of spirituality. :o}
This is AWESOME!!!
